Futures Cup, Schools Cup and National Age Group (NAGs) Success

6 of out last season’s U16 boys were selected for the EH Futures Cup Competition this August. 5 played and one was an unused reserve for the Wessex Leopards squads.

This is quite exceptional for one Club as typically we are pleased to get even just a single player through in any age group in the Futures Cup Competition.

 Alex Georgiou, Rory Penrose and Will Whitmore have been selected from strong performances in the Competion to join the U16 boys NAGS winter U16 training squad and Harry Croft-Baker will join the U18 training squad. It will be great if we can add to these after this coming junior season!

Finally, Will Penrose played for England U18 (blue) in the Schools multisport tournament which followed the Futures Cup in August.
