2019-20 season : Extra Junior coach wanted!

Winchester Hockey Club is seeking an enthusiastic coach to join its junior section coaching team for season 2019-20.

The Junior Executive Team at Winchester HC is looking for another experienced junior coach, or a highly motivated young coach looking to develop his/her coaching experience with our ever expanding junior section. The post is likely to be a paid role, dependent on time, commitment and experience.

The successful candidate will be sufficiently confident to lead training sessions and junior matches, with the strong support of assistant coaches and parent helpers. The post will be continually supported and interactive with the Junior Chair and all the other lead coaches. 

Winchester HC is an EH Clubmark accredited club in Hampshire and thus appropriate coaching experience and ideally EH coaching qualifications will be required. Support to enhance qualifications will also be heavily encouraged. The candidate must be prepared to supply/obtain an enhanced DBS clearance and complete suitable safeguarding training in order to comply with Clubmark standard requirements.
