England & GB honours for Winchester alumni

Congratulations to two Winchester ex junior and 1st XI players who have just been selected for England and GB squads.

Ollie Lander has been selected to play for the England U18 squad, and Rory Penrose has been selected to become one of the Men’s GB Elite Development Squad - both announced by England Hockey this week.

Both have played and developed within the club from U8 through to U16, with Rory now a student at Loughborough Uni and Ollie now a Boarder at Whitgift school - and both have recently coached at our own Summer camps developing the future generation of successful players. We look forward to having them coaching with us again soon.

All Winchester Coaches and the Club are proud of their recent achievement and wish them every success in their international careers. Well done and good luck.
