U12 girls A and B match reports

Two excellent games today showed that the U12 squad is developing across the board as both Fareham and Trojans girls teams had the game brought to them.

The A team won 2-0 against Fareham in a game where they showed that passing in formation around the back and down the channels works a treat. The girls could easily have taken a few more goals had it not been for the performance of the Fareham GK who made some brilliant saves.

The B team against Trojans also showed their resilience to win 1-0 on a drizzly wet afternoon. A tidier game with less errors and more team performance. Again the score could have been several higher had it not been for a strong Trojans GK.

After a run of tough games this season for both teams, these wins demonstrate how gutsy and brave this group of girls are. Togetherness and fighting spirit at all levels with the girls maintaining their composure and becoming increasingly gritty is really encouraging.
