50 years of playing for Winchester

Congratulations and best wishes to John Wigginton who in last weeks Wanderers match against Havant Cavaliers played once again, 50 years after playing his first match for Winchester HC back in 1969.

Also belated happy 74th birthday, an anniversary shared with fellow defender James Larcombe on the same day - that is a lot of match experience! Great to see you both on the pitch – keep it up. We trust there was adequate post-match training!
