Overview
The Committee is made up of between 8 and 10 permanent members, plus the President. The Committee can bring in additional members when needed to help with specific agenda items. Each person may hold only one role on the Committee.
The Committee is elected by the membership at each annual general meeting (AGM) to manage and represent the Club. All roles are served by members of the club on a totally voluntary basis.
Please get in touch with the relevant coaches and team managers for all matchday, coaching, and squad enquiries. Depending on the squad and age group, training takes place at different venues and at varying times. Please see the information on the relevant team page of this website. For all other subjects, please contact one of the key contacts listed below.
Safeguarding and wellbeing
Winchester Hockey Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of everyone involved in the Club. We expect all team Captains and Coaches to support the Club’s policies and aims and to always act with respect and care for the safety and welfare of our members.

Organisational structure and executive roles
The Executive Members are responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the Club. Executive Members can make decisions without referring them to the wider Committee, unless the decision:
Be part of the Winchester HC team that can make things happen! We always welcome additional support, so please do get in touch, if you would like join the team. Volunteer opportunities: There are lots of roles to play within the team from coaching and assistant coaches to team management and administrative roles.
