Move Momentum - Youth Activity Research Project

Move Momentum is conducting a survey about young people living in Winchester, and their activity and participation levels across multiple different activities and hope to get as much participation from and about youngsters from across Winchester as possible.

Move Momentum is small local charity and part of a collective of not-for-profit youth organisations based in Winchester to provide accessible, inclusive and affordable dance classes to youth, over 65’s and handicapped people.

They, are aware since the pandemic, many people have seen a change in engagement from young people with activities outside of school. They have put together a survey to better understand why this is happening and what we as a collective can do to support more young people in engaging with activities outside of school, across a multiplicity of activities, not just dance.

 The survey is available to be completed by the young person themselves and/or the parent/guardian/carer of the young person – to find out what young people do and would like to do (and why they can’t) in Winchester.

They have also decided to run a prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher for taking part in the survey.
